We offer group classes! A group environment provides puppies and dogs with much needed socialization-with dogs AND people! Early training will teach you and your dog the steps to a lifetime of successful training. Take a look at what different levels of training we offer! Canine 101

[INDOOR] Canine 101 is a beginner class for dogs older than 4 months to learn basic obedience through engagement, consistency and marker training. You and your dog will learn the foundations of training that can be used through various levels of training. The following is the class outline:

  • Sit

  • Down

  • Watch me

  • Leave it

  • Beginning the recall

  • Marker Training

  • Engagement

  • Socialization

  • Attention

  • Leash Manners

Canine 201

[OUTDOOR] Canine 201 is an intermediate class for dogs that have completed Pre-K9 or Canine 101. Dogs that did not take either course will need their obedience evaluated before being accepted into class. You and your dog will use the information learned to advance your training. A quick review of Pre-K9/Canine 101 will begin this 6 session course. The following is the class outline:

  • Sit/down with advanced distance/duration

  • Place

  • Beginning a focused heel

  • Impulse control

  • Recall with advanced distance


Canine 301

[OUTDOOR] Canine 301 is ONLY for dogs that have passed Canine 201. Dogs will continue to use the marker method to become more advanced with commands they have learned. The following is the class outline:

  • Introduction to e-collar/prong collar

  • Off Leash Obedience

  • Commands from a distance

  • Advanced heel

  • Commands with advanced distractions


Beginning January 2018, we will be hosting our first set of group classes at the Binghamton Agway! We are excited to work together with this great business to bring the best training to Binghamton we can!


The YWCA in Cortland is where we held our very first group class! Since 2016 we have booked up every class and are very thankful to the YWCA for working with us to bring training to the Cortland community!
